Abstract:
This article explores the concept of 'Aram' (Virtue) as depicted in Tirukkural, a revered Tamil text. The text emphasizes the importance of living a virtuous life, following the principles of 'Aram', 'Porul', and 'Inbam' to attain spiritual liberation. The article highlights key aspects of Tirukkural's teachings, including the significance of education, the importance of gratitude, and the value of a simple life. It also discusses the need for moral values such as kindness, compassion, and self-control, and how they contribute to individual and societal well-being.
